Victoria 4 Character to Genesis 8 Female

Description

(Iray Daz Studio Render)
The character is Mihrelle's Astrid converted to G8F.
Steps for the morph:
1) Use Darkhound1's V4 to G3F converter
2) Follow SickleYield's tut on converting G3F Characters to G8F (Darkhound1 has a converter for this also, but I had troubles with the "eyes" with it, could have been my bad.)
3)Make sure to transfer darkhound1's Victoria 4 base morphs too. You need to dial these in to get the character morph to look right. I use only the V4 head, and usually like the look of the character morphs on the G8F base body. One of the big pluses for G8F is the natural way she poses, so less distortion is better. Should probably recreate the body with G8F dials, but this works.
Steps for the texture:
4) Converted the Texture using Texture Transformer (you need an addon for V4 to G3F too.) 2.0 converts multiple files from .pz2 files, so the process is fairly automated.
5) Convert it to Iray (I used N.G.S. Anagenessis 2 - Revolution) for this figure.

Pose is DM's converted for G3F (I'm not sure why I even buy and download lots of others... I always use their's.)
Hair is FK's Eternal Kyra (Its prop hair, so it only needed a little scaling) with a converted Iray texture. (The textures aren't dead straight - so I started with wolfie's Touchable Kyra Textures)
Outfit is lilflame's Joy Underwear.
Lights and HDRI are Sveva's (I can't remember doing an image without one of Sveva's props(floors,) Iray Textures, or Lights.)
All of these are over at Renderosity.

I don't really feel obliged to mention products I bought and don't usually, (that is part of what I paid for,) but as I was going through a workflow for conversion it seemed appropriate.

Thanks for this.
My biggest hangup on converting to Daz from Poser is my characters, I've grown attached to their made up personalities and their faces are all V4 products.
Your explanation for transforming the textures was the last bit of info to tip me over the edge into Dazland.
